Thank you all very much.

John and Dave, I had to take a LOT of pictures to get a few that looked
good. I must say I'm getting pretty good at adjusting all the different
levels in iPhoto and photoshop though! I recently discovered the
exposure and temperature controls, which has let me salvage photos that
I would have sent to the trash before.

Absolutely gorgeous!!! Thanks for posting, Mike. In light of in the final stages of my 4 year project, I'm inspired to finally complete it.

BTW...what finish did you use? Also...why a bolt on neck as opposed to a glued in as in most of the Gibson styled electrics?

Thanks, JJ. I used Ilva's 2 part polyurethane for the body and fingerboard,
and tru-oil for the neck.

I teach an electric building class, and I like the students to do a bolt-on
neck for their first time, so I build one with them to show how to do
everything.
